Responsibilities:

  • Data entry accuracy
  • Answer phone, take patient information, make appointments, prepare charts
  • Answer patient questions on the phone and in person, consulting physicians on all non-routine matters
  • Maintain patient confidentiality at all times
  • Demonstrate the ability to work with other staff members. Treat all patients, staff, and physicians with courtesy and respect
  • Responsible for obtaining complete and accurate clinical, demographic and financial information during the scheduling process
  • Enters data in scheduling system or other applications. Provides the customer with prep and other appointment instructions

Requirements:

  • Detail oriented
  • Strong Microsoft office and computer skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Previous experience with medical scheduling
